Mid Century Danish teak bureau by Johannes Sorth
A 1960s teak bureau bookcase by Johannes Sorth, made in Denmark for Møbelfabrik Bornholm.
Made from solid teak and teak veneer, this stunning piece features a pull-out desktop and three spacious drawers on the bottom, and two removable / adjustable shelves up top. Tambour doors open to reveal three small drawers and further space for storage.
In good vintage condition, there are a few small patches of veneer loss and a small veneer repair on the left-hand side (see photos). This has been reflected in the price.
Hand stripped and refinished.
