1950s walnut sideboard by Arthur Basil Reynolds

sold out

Beautiful 1950s walnut sideboard by Arthur Basil Reynolds, made in the Cotswolds School style.

Two central drawers flanked by spacious cupboards, one of which has the original glass shelf. The left-hand cupboard is lockable and comes with the original key.

A rare piece in good condition. It has been cleaned and refinished. There are a few marks and scratches throughout commensurate with age, along with a few stubborn ink stains in the top drawer and right-hand cupboard (please see all photos). The wood has separated ever so slightly along the joins on top and on the side; a previous repair has been made but the gap remains slightly visible (a few mm). This does not affect the integrity of the piece and will not pose an issue in the future.
